Information We Collect

Personal data you give us: your name and email address when you subscribe to the newsletter, set a price alert, or send us a message through the contact form.

Usage data we collect automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and referring URL (stored in server logs and our analytics tools).

Purposes and Legal Basis

We process your data to operate the site (essential), respond to your messages, send newsletters you subscribed to, measure traffic, and personalise affiliate links. Essential processing relies on the legitimate operation of the site; analytics and advertising cookies rely on your consent via the banner on every page.

Consent

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), we ask for consent before setting analytics or advertising cookies. You can choose "Essential Only" in the banner, or withdraw consent later by clearing cookies and choosing "Essential Only" on your next visit, or by contacting us. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing done before withdrawal.

Your Rights (Data Principal Rights)

Under the DPDP Act you have the right to: (a) access your personal data; (b) correct, complete or update it; (c) erase it ("right to be forgotten"); (d) withdraw consent at any time; (e) nominate a representative in case of death or incapacity; and (f) file a complaint with our Grievance Officer. To exercise any right, contact our Grievance Officer. We will acknowledge and respond within 30 days.

Third Parties We Share Data With

We share usage data with: Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager (traffic analytics), Rojgarpulse analytics (analytics.rojgarpulse.in) (traffic analytics), and Amazon India and Flipkart (affiliate networks, only the product/click data needed to track referrals and commissions). Each has its own privacy policy. We do not sell your personal data.

Data Retention

Newsletter and contact-form submissions are kept until you ask us to delete them. Server logs are retained for up to 30 days. Analytics data is stored in anonymised or aggregated form by the providers above.

Children

FluxPick is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we learn we have, we will delete it on request.

Data Breaches

If a breach of personal data poses a risk to you, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as required by the DPDP Act.

Cross-Border Transfers

Analytics providers listed above may process data outside India under their own terms and safeguards.
