❓ What makes the Zodiac better for back pain than other Green Souls?

The suspended lumbar — a cushioned pad on a flexible mount that moves with your spine instead of a fixed plastic bump. For disc-related or lower-back pain, that's the feature that matters most, and it's why this is the back-pain pick even though the Jupiter Pro is the better all-rounder. If your pain is muscular and general, the Jupiter is enough; if a doctor has named your lumbar region, the Zodiac's suspension is the reason it exists.

❓ Is the high back and headrest useful at a normal desk?

Only if you actually recline. At an upright typing angle the headrest sits behind your skull doing nothing; its value is in the 20-minute recline between tasks, where neck support is the difference between resting and straining. If your desk work is pure upright typing, you're paying for a feature you'll use in breaks — still worth it for many people, but know which one you're buying.

❓ Does the seat slider matter if I'm short or tall?

It's the most underrated adjustment on any chair. Seat depth that's too long presses the back of your knees and cuts circulation; too short and your thighs get no support. The slider lets you fix that for your leg length — set it so you have two fingers of gap between seat edge and knee. If you share the chair with a partner of different height, the slider is the difference between one good fit and two bad ones.
