Rs2,749. The Nokia 150 - a rugged, long-battery keypad phone. Rated 4.0 from 4,217 owner reviews.

The Nokia 150 sits at the bottom of the price range and is the most forgiving phone you can hand someone: a physical keypad, a battery that genuinely lasts weeks in light use, and 4G rather than the 3G networks being switched off.

It has a rear camera and Bluetooth for a headset, which is enough for calls, SMS and UPI. Beyond that, do not expect it to do more - that simplicity is the point for a first or backup phone.
